Booking Terms and Conditions

Whether you’re booking through Airbnb or directly with us, the terms are the same:

Booking Deposit: A deposit amounting to 50% of the total rental fee is needed to confirm the booking.

Balance Payment: The balance is due no later than 4 weeks before your holiday kicks off.

Housekeeping & Additional Services

Weekly Cleaning: A professional maid service will clean the villa once a week. Once you’re settled, coordinate with our on-site property manager for the cleaning day that suits you best.

Extra Cleaning: Need a bit more cleaning? Just reach out to our property manager. Any additional cleaning services will cost 150 BDS per cleaner for each visit. Kindly pay this directly in cash to the property manager.

Arrival Groceries: If you want to kick off your stay with a full fridge, just send us your grocery list. Our property manager will do her best to get what you need. Depending on the size of your order, it’ll cost between 30-50 BDS, which can be paid directly to our property manager in cash.

Full Property Terms and Conditions

Once we have agreed on a quote we will send you a booking form to complete, below are the terms and conditions that we would like you to agree to….

Check-in and Check-out Times: Standard check-in time is 4:00 pm. If you arrive earlier and the property is ready, we are happy to accommodate an earlier check-in. However, this cannot be guaranteed unless previously arranged.

Check-out time is at 12:00 pm. If you require a later check-out and we have no subsequent bookings, we will do our best to accommodate. However, to ensure availability, please request this in advance.

Property Details and Access: One week prior to the check-in date, the Guest will receive comprehensive details regarding the property. This information will include:

  • Detailed instructions on how to access the property.
  • Contact details for our dedicated property manager, who will be available to assist you during your stay.
  • Any other relevant information or guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay at the property.

Please review this information upon receipt and reach out with any questions prior to arrival.

We aim to provide a seamless check-in experience and ensure that you have all the necessary details to enjoy your stay without any hitches.

Subletting: The Guest agrees not to sublet, lease, or rent out any part of the property, either in whole or in part, to any third party without the prior written consent of the Owner. Additionally, the Guest shall not permit any individuals other than those named in this Agreement to stay at the property without the Owner’s approval.

Cancellation by Owner: In the rare event that unforeseen circumstances arise which necessitate us to cancel a confirmed booking, the Guest will be notified immediately. The reasons for such a cancellation would include property damage, significant maintenance issues, or other circumstances beyond the Owner’s control.
The Guest will be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, this refund will be processed within 7 days from the date of cancellation notification.

Liabilities: The Guest agrees to use the property and its amenities at their own risk. The Owner shall not be held responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur to the Guest, or any accompanying parties, while on the premises or while using its facilities. Additionally, the Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest.

Noise levels: Our property is nestled in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood. Our neighbours are all very friendly, and welcoming, they will not mind a reasonable degree of noise. While we want you to enjoy your stay, we kindly ask that any music, or other noise, be kept to a respectful volume, especially at night.

Pets: Out of consideration for all our guests and to maintain the cleanliness of our property, we have a strict no-pets policy in place.

Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the property, including the gallery. This policy applies to all forms of smoking, including vapes.

Security: Safety and security are paramount for both our guests and our property. While Sunset Crest is known for being a low-crime area, as with every location, there can be instances of opportunistic crime.

Always ensure that all doors are locked when you are not in the property and please keep both front gates closed. There are cameras on the entrance points of the property and footage is only accessed in the event of a reported security incident.

Swimming Pool:
The pool is easily accessible from various parts of the property. While this provides convenience, it also means that guests need to be particularly vigilant, especially when it comes to children or non-swimmers.

Children should never be left unattended near or in the pool, regardless of their swimming abilities.

You are entirely responsible for your safety and the safety of all individuals in your party while using the pool. The property owner will not be held liable or responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may arise from the use of the pool.

Additional Charges for Damages

We reserve the right to bill additional charges in the event of the following:

Smoking
If smoking is detected within the property, a fee will be charged for deep cleaning and deodorization to restore the property to a smoke-free state.

Excessive Cleaning
While regular cleaning after a guest’s departure is expected, any issues that require more than standard cleaning will incur additional charges.

Lost Keys
 
Should keys to the property be lost we will charge a fee for replacement (100 BDS)

Sunset Crest Beach House Key Card
If the key card for the Sunset Crest Property Club goes missing or is damaged during your stay, a replacement fee will apply (50 BDS).

Gate Fob
Any loss or damage to the main gate fob will result in a replacement charge.

Damage from Sun Cream and water
Sun cream can often leave stains on furniture and fabrics. We urge guests to be mindful of this. Damages to furniture resulting from sunscreen or water damage may result in additional charges.

A/C
We kindly ask that A/C units are turned off when you are not present in the property.  This helps us to keep our rental costs down and lessen the impact on the environment.
