When we bought Villa Sunnyside in July 2022, it was in need of modernization. We teamed up with a reputable local construction company, Icon Construction.

Being a long way from the refurbishment back in the UK, we trusted ICON to lead the project and were lucky to have Tim and David oversee things in Barbados. They delivered what we wanted, with great attention to detail and customer service.
There were plenty of unexpected challenges, but the end result was a beautifully modernized Villa Sunnyside.

When Icon Construction stepped onto the grounds of our Barbados villa, they had a lot to do:
- Modernized Electrics: ICON gave the villa’s electrical system a comprehensive overhaul.
- Gate Replacement: The entrance is the first impression, and the newly installed gates are welcoming and secure.
- Pool Installation: ICON integrated a brand-new pool complete with a water feature.
- Bathroom Renovations: Three bathrooms were entirely revamped.
- Kitchen Transformation: The kitchen received a complete makeover. Modern fixtures, state-of-the-art appliances, and a new kitchen island.
- Roof Replacement: The roof was replaced, no more indoor showers in the rainy season.
- The Gallery: ICON opened up the gallery, creating an expansive and airy space.
- A Fresh Coat: To tie everything together, a meticulous paint job was done throughout the property.
